Why we only do bats and wildlife.
There's a reason most wildlife-removal companies treat bats as an afterthought: bats are protected by Ontario law, the work is slow and seasonally constrained, and the legal complexity scares off generalists. It doesn't fit a spray-and-leave business model. That's exactly why we focus on it.
Our specialty
We chose to specialize in bats because the alternative — being one of dozens of generalist wildlife-removal companies — wasn't where the homeowner needed help. Bats are the most legally complex small-wildlife work in Ontario. They're also ecologically critical: a single bat eats well over a thousand insects in a single night. They're worth protecting, and they deserve removal that doesn't compromise that.
Done right, humane bat exclusion is permanent. That's the bar we hold ourselves to — and it's the bar our Lifetime Warranty enforces.
How we work
Three things make our service different from typical wildlife-removal work:
- Inspection-first. Every job starts with a free on-site inspection. We won't quote work over the phone, and we won't sell a service before we've seen the home.
- Humane-only. One-way exclusion is the only method we use. We don't kill, we don't poison, we don't trap-and-relocate. It's the only legal approach for bats in Ontario, and it's the right approach for the other small wildlife we handle too.
- Lifetime Warranty. If a bat re-enters through any point we sealed, we come back and do all the work necessary — at no extra cost. Forever. The warranty transfers to subsequent homeowners.
Our credentials
Our team holds every license required for humane bat removal in Ontario, including those under the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act and the Endangered Species Act. Every member of our team is trained in PPE-required attic work, identifies bat species accurately, and follows provincial maternity-season restrictions. We don't cut corners on training or materials — the cost of doing the job twice is much higher than doing it once correctly.
Our service area
We serve every town across Grey, Bruce, and Simcoe counties — roughly 30 municipalities, from Tobermory at the tip of the peninsula to Bradford in the south. Same-week inspection is the norm. Driving distance has never stopped us from taking a job; we'd rather drive an hour than turn down a homeowner who needs help.
Why "Bats and Wildlife"
We're a focused brand from a parent wildlife-removal business. Splitting bats out into its own brand lets us go deeper on bat-specific expertise — content, training, response time, and the network of customers who recommend us. The "and Wildlife" part is intentional: many of our customers discover one species and find another, and we handle them all the same way.
If any of this resonates — humane work, lifetime warranty, no shortcuts — get in touch. We'll come look.
